Happy Birthday! Well, we don't actually know if it's your birthday today, but it will be sometime this year. When that day comes, you will need ideas for celebrating your birthday.
Have a family tea party! The best toys for creative thinking that every child should have
A tea party is always the right time. Set up house toys on a special table indoors. Or outside under a tree or on a balcony, surrounded by flowers and birds.
Scavenger Hunt
If you're hosting your child's birthday party at a local park or museum, create a scavenger hunt based on the party theme and get your guests out exploring. They'll have fun tracking down the items on their list, and you can sit back and enjoy their search and discovery!
Tug of War
Tug of war has always been a favorite of kids. Get a thick rope, divide the party guests into two teams, and place the teams at opposite ends of the rope. Mark the center of the rope and a line, have each team try to pull the center over, and then start pulling! It's that simple. If it is particularly hot, place sprinklers or a sink nearby to help participants cool off.
Balloon Bursting
You can fill large balloons with candy and small snacks. These can be inflated and hung all over the venue for easy access. Kids can have fun popping balloons and collecting goodies.
Glow-in-the-dark party
This is great for kids because the action begins when the sun goes down. Wear glow-in-the-dark necklaces, fill the baby ball pool, or their castle with glow sticks, and place colored plastic cups on tea lights to light up the party!
